Leveraging leading technologies and innovative designs, we have developed explosion-proof elevators applicable to multiple industries.
Product Type:Special Elevator
Old Elevator:Can Be Retrofitted
Explosion-proof elevators are mainly applied in environments containing explosive gases (e.g. methane, hydrogen) or combustible dust (e.g. coal dust, metal powder). Typical application scenarios include:
| Application Industry | Typical Scenarios | Main Risk Types | Special Requirements |
| Oil and Gas | Offshore drilling platforms, refineries, oil storage bases | Combustible gases (methane, oil & gas) | Corrosion-resistant, storm-resistant, remote monitoring |
| Coal Mine and Non-coal Mine | Underground tunnels, lifting channels | Mine gas and coal dust | Moisture-proof, dust-proof, high-humidity resistant |
| Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry | Chemical plant reaction zones, hazardous material warehouses | Flammable solvent vapors, toxic gases | Chemical corrosion resistance, leak-proof design |
| Aerospace | Fuel refueling areas, propellant workshops | High-energy fuel vapor | Ultra-low spark rating, anti-static |
| Offshore Platform | Deep-sea operation platforms | Combustible gas, high-pressure environment | Waterproof, salt-spray resistant, pressure compensation system |
1. Core Explosion-proof Technology System
Explosion-proof type (Ex d): Electrical components are enclosed in reinforced housings to contain flame propagation if internal explosion occurs.
Intrinsic safety type (Ex i): Limits circuit energy so that no spark with sufficient ignition energy can be produced even under short-circuit conditions.
Enhanced safety type (Ex e): Adopts measures including enhanced insulation and increased electrical clearance to avoid abnormal overheating and electric arcing.
Dust-proof & Waterproof Design: Complies with IP68 protection rating, fitted with labyrinth shaft seals to prevent ingress of dust and withstand water pressure.
2. Structural Reinforcement and Safety Design
Anti-impact car: The car enclosure adopts thickened steel plates or composite armor materials, with anti-collision buffer assemblies (e.g. hydraulic energy-absorbing devices) installed internally.
Explosion-proof operating components: Buttons, lighting equipment and intercom systems all adopt airtight sealing or potting treatment.
Mechanical spark suppression: Guide rails are manufactured from non-sparking materials like copper-nickel alloys, and wet friction plates are adopted for brakes.
Breakthrough in load capacity: As an example, an enterprise in Fujian, China has developed a 20-ton freight elevator to address the issue of car sinking under heavy load conditions.
3. Intelligence and Energy-saving Technology
Real-time status monitoring: Integrate temperature, vibration and gas concentration sensors to realize fault early warning and remote diagnosis.
AI linkage control: For instance, the infrared detector senses the approaching speed of forklifts, and automatically adjusts the opening and closing of landing doors to prevent collisions.
